FILSHAM

The ancient location of the Manor of Filsham dating back to Saxon times. A vital location for wildlife both at Filsham Reed Beds - the largest area of reeds in Sussex and the South Saxons Valley which once contained a Racecourse. The Hollington Stream runs down through the area. Although Hollington is now seen as a separate area, Hollington was once an area of Filsham Manor.
